[Resolved] [Plugin: pb-embedFlash] Thumnial Preview in Blog Post – How to Change?

  • Hi Pascal,

Love your plugin. Thanks for the great effort!

I’d like to change the image that appears as the “preview” for the movie… by default, it’s this image: wp-content/plugins/pb-embedflash/css/images/previewimage.png This is the graphic that appears in my blog post that users can “click” to see the video.

I know I can globally change this image, but I’d like to have a unique image for each movie – sort of a “preview” of what’s in the movie.

The JW viewer supports this function, and I’ve figured out how to do it within the viewer…but I can’t figure out how to show a preview within the post itself.

    Thanks for your help!
    Shawn

  • The readme knows the answer:

To easily use an image as link to Shadowbox or the popup window, you can specify the source of an image in preview={URL|WIDTH|HEIGHT}. Both WIDTH and HEIGHT are optional. The alt attribute of the image tag is set to the image filename (e.g. movie.gif). Example: preview={http://domain.tld/img/thumb/movie.gif|200|100}. Please ensure that you put it into {} brackets!

    Pascal,
Thank you! I was able to make it work. Now I understand a little better how

And now that I look more closely, I see you can use the tiny MCE to insert these values. How great!

thank you so much for a great piece of software. I can’t wait until it supports the JW skins.

    Shawn
