Another, quicker question, for the community.

I’d like to be able to give people the ability to “save to PDF” on a page that has this plugin in it. The closest plugin I’ve found to date is “WP Post to PDF”, but it doesn’t respect the URL parameters, so when a user goes to the [pdb_record] page to update their information, then if they hit the “save to PDF” link, it loses the PID parameter, resulting in a PDF file of an empty page.

Does anyone have a save-to-PDF plugin that works well with Participants Database?

    Thanks!

Update: I’ve tried the Top 25 PDF plugins, and the ONLY ones that work with the Participants Database plugin are those that curl the web page and then generate the PDF in the cloud. Those two worked just dandy (but both had issues where I would prefer not to use them), so I’m back to square one.

I’m wondering if there’s a fundamental problem with trying to print the resulting pages as PDF with this plugin. Does anyone have any experience or success here?

    Thanks!

BTW, the plugin that seems to work is the “PDF24 Article To PDF” plugin. It has a compatibility issue with SB Welcome, so I can’t use it. It does generate the PDF correctly, though.

The plugin that doesn’t generate the right PDF, but which seems to be the best and most configurable generalized save-as-PDF functionality is “WP Post To PDF”.

    thanks,

I’m going to mark this one as closed. I got a response back from the “WP Post To PDF” author, basically saying he couldn’t reproduce it, and there’s lots of other PDF plugins to use, so I’m going to go with that suggestion. 😉

    thanks everyone,
    bruce
