Support » Plugin: Paid Memberships Pro » [Plugin: Paid Memberships Pro] Using a custom loop to block content

  • Kawsar

By default the plugin block all the content. I have some custom pages and that shows title and the excerpt , so after every excerpt it says Register here. Is there any way to take it off ? Rather than block the content on the front page or individual page, I just want to block posts.
Also, is there a loop I can wrap around any links to make it member only post? Thank you.

    Hi there!

The Paid Membership Pro from WPMU DEV?

There are shortcodes you can use to wrap content and protect it, and we will be releasing an update shortly with even better capability in those.

The plugin doesn’t block all the content by default, only what you select in the rules via the Access Panel.

The WPMU plugin is just called “Membership”:

Paid Memberships Pro, is an open source WordPress membership plugin that is available here in the WP repository.

Sujhon, all of those things you are asking for are possible with PMPro. If you sign up for a support membership at and post this in the support forums there, I will point you to the documentation that tells you how to do those things.

well, strangerstudios, very sorry I missed that. We do offer a paid version of “Membership”. I guess I just passed over the Pro, very silly of me.

I’ve seen you provide remarkable support for your plugin and that folks really seem to enjoy it 🙂

    Thanks for setting me straight.
