Right. I can see that the iframe comes up blank in ie8. I haven’t really looked into that but if you are in control of that iframe… I suggest doing it a bit differently.
Instead of the iframe, put a div there:
<div id = "my_frame">
</div>
Now using jquery, do an ajax call:
<div id = "my_frame">
</div>
<script language = "javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){
$.ajax({
url: 'http://the_iframe_url',
success: function(data) {
$('#my_frame').html(data);
}
});
});
</script>
This is a better way of doing this.
for more info on using jquery ajax go here: http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.ajax/
And a nice simple example of it being used here (slightly different technique):
http://www.w3schools.com/jquery/tryit.asp?filename=tryjquery_ajax1
Thank you but I still could not get this to work.
Here is the code I added to the wp page:
<div id = “my_frame”>
</div>
<script language = “javascript”>
$(document).ready(function(){
$.ajax({
url: ‘http://nky.rapmls.com/scripts/mgrqispi.dll?APPNAME=Nokentucky&PRGNAME=MLSLogin&ARGUMENT=lku7Xkjr168Ekn5tXizlkybd9tQN0ChL8tuJrldgVv4%3D&KeyRid=1’,
success: function(data) {
$(‘#my_frame’).html(data);
}
});
});
</script>
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks again!
