Hi Hans, apologies for the late response. Can you confirm, are you seeing your menu labels under the Page Menu Editor box when you edit the page? If so then they should be displaying unless your theme is preventing them from doing so.
The plugin uses custom fields, but this has always been the case. What version of WordPress are you using and what version of the plugin are you using?

I had to add all the labels again.
The Page Menu Editor fields were filled in, but the custom fields were missing. So I had to add all the custom fields again. At the time I was using WP 3.4.2 and PME 2.1.

I now have the a similar issue as above:.
In the Page Menu Editor, all the “Page Link Title Attribute:” fields are empty.
The “Page Menu Label:” fields contain the correct data.
In the Custom Fields, there is a title_attribute field, which contains the same data as the empty “Page Link Title Attribute:” should have had.
But for the Menu to appear correctly I need to I need to manually add a custom field called “menulabel”, and fill it with what the “Page Menu Label” field contains.
Any idea about whats going on?

Hi Hans, I’m sorry but I’m not sure how you’re having these issues and seemingly the only person! What version of the plugin did you upgrade from? This is the only reason I can think that you’ve had any issues although I can’t recall when the custom field name was changed but it was definitely a few years ago.
Hi Hans, I’ve just looked through the code. If you’ve created a custom field called menulabel to input the data and then this works then you’re using an older version of the plugin. Can you please check what version you’re using as since 2.1 or 2.1.1 the custom field names have changed to using an array. This could be why you’ve had issues especially if you’ve installed a later version and then rolled back.
