# Plugin Page in Admin Panel

 * Anyone know any plugins that has its own admin menu (same level as Dashboard,
   Write, etc)? Also *all* the plugin files are dropped into plugin folder only,
   not in wp-admin also.
 * I need to check on something, so the longer list the better. Thnx.

 * Check out my wp-lists plugin. You can add a menu to the top level of the admin
   menu bar very easily. I had done it previously but then decided Manage -> Lists
   was more appropriate.
 * Unfortunately, edit-lists.php is dropped into /wp-admin/. Not sure if that can
   help you.

 * Adding files to `wp-admin` folder is highly not suggested. It could make upgrade
   process more complicated as the custom files (non-wp core) are not grouped.
