# [Plugin: P3 (Plugin Performance Profiler)] Can't Remove P3 Plugin

 * Having trouble removing the P3 Plugin. Actually I think it took down my site 
   at one point when I tried to remove it.
 * I’ve read the following threads:

 * [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-p3-plugin-performance-profiler-many-errors-cannot-remove?replies=17](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-p3-plugin-performance-profiler-many-errors-cannot-remove?replies=17)
 * I was able to remove
    wp-content/mu-plugins/p3-profiler.php
 * but cannot remove
    wp-content/plugins/p3-profiler/
 * FTP example errors:
    class.p3-profile-reader.php: No such file or directory class.
   p3-profile-table-sorter.php: No such file or directory
 * but it looks like they are still on the server..Can’t delete any of those files
   in: wp-content/plugins/p3-profiler/

 * I’m sorry to hear about the problems you’ve had with P3 on your site.
 * Once you deactivate it and remove wp-content/mu-plugins/p3-profiler.php, it will
   no longer run on your site.
 * If the delete plugin functionality within WordPress will not work for you and
   you cannot delete files via FTP, please contact your host or server administrator.
 * It sounds like you’re not allowed to delete the files due to file permissions.
   Your host/administrator can reset those.
