# Plugin P2 Won’t Install

 * So I’ve installed (well I’ve been trying! :() for about a week now to get P2 
   installed on WordPress. (P2 = [http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/p2](http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/p2)).
   I’ve tried uploading it, and doing it through the admin panel, nothing works.
   It uploads then it says has no header or something.

 * Just to make sure: P2 installs as a theme not a plugin. If you install through
   the ‘add a theme’ menu by searching for it and installing it straight from the
   theme repository (instead of uploading it from your pc) you might have better
   luck. Have you tried that?

 * Is there a means to full back to the previous version (P2.1). I have updated 
   automatically to find that the theme info now says that it is configured to work
   with 2.9 beta or better and, if I try to use I get an error message – Fatal error:
   Call to undefined function: str_ireplace() in /homepages/45/d141821370/htdocs/
   archery/wp-content/themes/p2/functions.php on line 69 – and this is a shame. 
   If I’d have known this was suitable for 2.9 beat and above I would have waited
   it out, now I can’t roll it back and I am having to use another theme which I
   don’t really want to. Any assistance would be appreciated.

 * A bit of an update – I have , in the mean time, found and installed the 2.9 version
   beta. Good from that point of view. However, it hasn’t made any difference with
   the theme, I still get the Fatal error message as previously mentioned. As before,
   no other theme appears to be effected
