Support » Plugin: Organize Series » [Plugin: Organize Series] Is there an excerpts token?

  • I read the documentations of this wonderful plugin, but I cannot find an excerpts token to use in the template or in the options page.

The problem is that the plugin will list the article part of a series in the /series/ entry.

Let’s say I have a series about quantistic chroma-photography, the page

/series/chroma-photography will list all articles in full-lenght.

Beside being unwieldily to navigate, it is also not SEO-friendly (duplication of content).

How do one list only a list of titles, with excerpts?

  • The /series/chroma-photography page is an archive page and will inherit whatever settings you have for your blog. If you’re blog is set to show full-length articles then the series archive pages will show that.

If you want to just show excerpts you could do that by modifying the WordPress loop in a file named, “taxonomy-series.php” and place that file in your theme directory.

    Thank you so much!
