Plugin or hack to pull blog posts from one blog to another?

Hi,

My client would like to keep her old blog since she is used to it, doesn’t like change, but I have convinced her to update her main web site using wordpress. The theme features a custom blog roll on the homepage which is set up to pull from the blog posts within the theme. She wants certain posts to be featured there as well as a dedicated page within the site to feature just posts that she categorizes as “events”

Is there a plugin or hack that will pull posts from her existing blog into this blog so that I can manage to set this functionality up?
