[resolved] Double gallery on a Mac (6 posts)

    I have just installed oQey Gallery. When I view my site on a Mac (Safari, Firefox and Chrome) I see two galleries where there should be one. This is an example of the problem.

    On a PC running windows it displays correctly.

    As you can see the bottom gallery is not actually displaying any images, it just shows a blank frame instead of an image. Toggling the "Do not use Flash skins:' does not help. I have tried changing all the other settings and the skin, and reinstalled the plugin and nothing seems to get rid of the double gallery. Any ideas how to solve this?

    Sorry, but in this case we can't help.

    Sorry that was my fault, I removed the oQey Gallery by accident when editing. I have restored it and I am still getting double galleries (one blank) on all mac browsers. I would really appreciate it if you could have a look and see if there is some solution.

    Thank you

    let's try to update to the version 1.7.2

    Find in header.php
    <script type='text/javascript' src='http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.4/jquery.min.js'></script>

    or something like
    wp_enqueue_script('jquery', 'http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.4/jquery.min.js');

    and set to the version 1.7.2

    It can be a query conflict.
    Let me know if this is silver the problem.

    I tried your suggestion. I am using the Thesis Theme and so the actual way I implemented it is a bit different but I tried loading jquery 1.7.2 and that didn't solve the problem and so I tried using version 1.8.2 and that hasn't solved the problem either.

    The situation is that I still get two galleries, one blank, in all Mac Browsers.
