Scheduled backups aren't working for me. I already contacted WP Online Backup support by e-mail:
I'm using the Online Backup WordPress plugin and despite having enabled weekly scheduled backups nearly 2 weeks ago (in several sites), when I check either the plugin dashboard or the web dashboard the backups seem not to have been updated since then.
And I got the following possible solution:
Please try creating a new post in WordPress and have it automatically publish at a future date.
On some servers that are not configured correctly by the host, this will not work as the internal scheduling inside WordPress isn’t working.
Trying to create a “future post” is a good way of testing that the internal scheduling is working OK.
If the future post works fine, please post in the forum the issue again and that you have tried this and somebody will offer further assistance.
However, the primary cause of the scheduled backup not working is that the host is not configured correctly and WordPress’s internal scheduling doesn’t work either.
However I've tried to create scheduled posts as proposed and they are created just fine, so I don't know what the issue could be.
