Online Backup for WordPress
I'm having trouble getting my site backed up (2 posts)

    At the outset I apologize for the lenght of this message. I have downloaded the back up system and it keeps blocking and not doing what it's supposed to do. Now I am very new at this so I am not qujite familiar with how things work, so I will need a lot patience...

    Here is the log of the error messages I received. It's all gibberish to me...can you pls help and tell me in plain english what to do to resolve? Thanks

    Hi fergus,

    Are you using the latest version, 2.2.1?
    It is strange error... The folder it is trying to backup is supposed to be skipped/ignored. Ill check the code over see if anything pops out because it excludes fine on all my tests.

    Hmmm just noticed a variance in paths there. "www" and "public_html". Did you tick to include the WordPress parent folder on general settings? In your setup I believe you don't need to, and if "www" is a symbolic link you'll certainly need to disable WordPress parent folder backup as we don't support symbolic links at the moment.

    Let me know what you find.
