[Plugin: Obfuscate E-mail] unable to copy-and-paste correctly

When I activated this plugin, I selected the following options:
Obfuscate entire e-mail address
Utilize CSS text direction technique
Utilize CSS display:none technique

However, any time I try to copy an email link from my site’s onscreen text, when I paste it, I get gobbledy-gook (I get a reversed version of the email address). I understand that this might happen if CSS is turned off in the browser, but this happens no matter what browser I use – Firefox, Chrome, or IE, and I don’t believe I have CSS turned off in any of them.

I understood that the Obfuscate E-mail plug-in was supposed to reverse the email, then reverse it back so a user could copy-and-paste it normally. Am I doing something wrong? How can I fix this?
