[Plugin: nrelate Most Popular] nRelate Invalidation

  • When trying to validate, I get the error “end tag for “script” omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified”

    I view the source code of the invalid page, and this is what I see:

    <script type="text/javascript">
    /* <![CDATA[ */
    		var entity_decoded_nr_mp_url = jQuery('<span/>').html("http://api.nrelate.com/mpw_wp/0.51.2/loadcounter.php?tag=nrelate_popular&domain=www.towerofpower.com.au&url=url-here").text();
    		nRelate.getNrelatePosts(entity_decoded_nr_mp_url);
    /* ]]> */
    </script>

    I look at nrelate-popular.php and at the end “>” is indeed a “>”. Eh? How can it be validated?

    EDIT: the closing > for the source code should be the character entity (& g t ;). The file has the greater than symbol.

  • I noticed this was not addressed in the past two patches and no one has yet to reply here. Guess I’ll just give up and use another plugin.
