# Plugin not working on WP version 6.2

 * After upgrading to WordPress 6.2, the plugin is no longer adding the headers 
   to the site’s .htaccess file. Deactivating the plugin results in a 500 Internal
   Server Error across the entire site.
 * Any suggestions? Or is the plugin just in need of an update?

 * Hi, thanks for your topic I confirm that the plugin is compatible with 6.2 WordPress
   version.
 * I will test for your report. the 502 error after deactivation you can check if
   the plugin headers are present in the htaccess and write me the feedback so I

 * Thanks for answering so quickly!
 * The plugin headers were absent from .htaccess both before and after deactivation.
   But deactivating the plugin makes the entire site go down, so I was restoring
   the site from a backup each time.
 * It turns out, deactivating another security plugin, HideMyWP Ghost, and reactivating(
   which reset all of my settings for that plugin) fixed it. I then reactivated 
   Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP and everything seems to be working fine now.
