Plugin not working on WordPress 4.0

    I recently updated my client’s development and production sites to wordpress 4.0 and found out that YOAST SEO plugin stopped working.

    The plugin’s form is not displaying at all in the posts’ and pages’ metaboxes, although the header/title does.

    A rectangular box appears titled “WordPress SEO by Yoast” without the form and functionality.

    I turned on debug mode and notifications on both sites, but nothing pumps up either in the site or in the error log, which means I myself cannot track the cause of the issue.

    This happened after wordpress was updated, please advise.
