# Plugin not working in staging area

 * I am very interested in implementing this comment system on my website, but I
   want to try it first before we go live. I have a “staging” area, where I can 
   copy the website over to a staging server, play around with it, and then copy
   those changes back to the live site if I like them. However, when I go to install
   the plugin in the staging website, I install, click “activate plugin” and then
   I can no longer access the staging dashboard. All I get is a blank page when 
   I try to load it.
 * I’m not sure what is causing this problem, but any help is appreciated!

 * Strange, can you turn WP_DEBUG on? you’ll need to add `define('WP_DEBUG', true);`
   in your `wp-config.php` file. Just above `that's it happy blogging!`

 * Hi there, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to the cpanel
   right now (just the wordpress side of things) as the site’s owner is on leave,
   and he’s the one with the login info. I think the problem might be that our PHP
   is too old. Will try to look into this asap…
