plugin not working after theme switch

    i changed the theme from 2014 to mono from cudazi (actually to a child theme i made from this one) and then the plugin is not working anymore. by switching back the theme it is working again. i like the simple features it provides more than just the pasted embed code’s result.
    i would appreciate a hint, where to look , what to change or add in the theme to have it working again.
    (i’m not very skilled in php or js, but with some hints i certainly can find my way in the code)

    Sadly I have no idea what might be the issue.

    The plugin use the recommended way to add additional embed support in WordPress. Something in that theme is breaking my plugin, what it is I do not know.
