I have been working with email before download folk and after much testing, it seems the issue is with the download monitor. When I went to add that plugin, it said it was installed. Or maybe give a list of plugins so we can test this. IT may be some sort of plugin conflict that causes the problem. * Or, if you want to test yourself, I recommend installing this plugin: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/) After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website. Go to its troubleshoot mode and only activate Download Monitor and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-One for example) and no other plugins. * Kind Regards!
