• hello! thanks for the plugin!
    at the products panel the related products matches are looking great, but when I check the real thing at the website, they’re gone. It only shows woocommerce default related products by category. …Am I missing something at the configurations maybe? Any ideas?

    I would love to know how to make this plugin works. At the moment it’s the same as not having it installed.

    Hi there,

    Apologies for not getting to you sooner. We will need more information to be able to help.

    – Do you have a caching plugin installed?
    – Have you cleared all your caches?
    – How are you adding YARPP to the page? Automatic placement, function, shortcode, block…?
    – Which YARPP template are you using? Are you using a custom YARPP template?
    – Please share your active plugin list
    – Are you sure you’re observing YARPP output or perhaps it’s the Related Product functionality built into WooCommerce? You’ll be able to tell by looking at the CSS classes.

    Hello!

    – no
    – yes
    – automatic placement
    – thumbnails, but that setting doesn’t make any effect at the the website, none of the automatic display options actually makes any effect at the website.
    – I’m not sure, but it’s probably woocommerce’s related product funcionality as it doesn’t show any configuration/changes from yarpp. What should I look for at the css classes?

    Thanks!

    @rikah

    YARPP adds a <div> with classes that look like:

    <div class='yarpp yarpp-related yarpp-related-website yarpp-template-list'>

    If you don’t see this, then YARPP hasn’t actually been added to the page.

    Have you tried the YARPP Shortcode or Block as a way to place YARPP on the page?

    There’s no yarpp code at the css… so, ok, it actually wasn’t added to the page.
    Where should I place the shortcode so it would show exactly where the default related product was? (sorry, I don’t have that much experience with wordpress, but that propably means I have to install another plugin to be able to edit the product page, right?)

    So….. I’ve been testing and the automatic display works on pages perfectly. But not at the products.

    I’ve tried the short code option, but it messes the layout too much at the only place I could write it (at the product’s short description). I still don’t know where to put the code so it can display at the same place the custom related posts are.

    Widgets option doesn’t work either, it crashes my wordpress (not the plugin fault though).
