Yes, it is there. I downloaded it and installed it fine. It is in my admin panel. But it stopped showing up on my screen. I have downloaded and reinstalled but it didn’t make a difference.

if you follow the link whooami provided, you will see that there is no wp-polls plugin located in that directory. Assuming that this is the WordPress install you are currently trying to use that one, she is correct. It is not installed correctly.
