# Plugin Not Uploading

 * Hi,
 * I’m trying to upload a plug-in, but for some reason, when I hit, “Install,” it
   will not upload. The file I’m trying to upload is an unzipped file that I know
   others have uploaded and are using.
 * Can someone advise please?

 * I tried uploading it zipped as well, and nothing happened…where is the Plugin
   Directory?

 * You need to upload the plugin’s folder to wp-content/plugins.

 * Use [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management
   application your host provides.
