I am having the same issue since the latest update. Suddenly more spam in my comments and spam folder. Seems to be since 6.1 update.

Version 6 is even more aggressive than 5.9. If you did not change any options it should stop almost all apam.

Make sure that you don’t check off the “generated white list” checkbox on the allow lists options page. Make sure you do check all countries.

Make sure that when you look at your IP address on the Summary page that it is indeed YOUR IP (ask google “what is my ip?”). If the one Google reports is not the same one that the plugin reports it means that your aite is behind a firewall or proxy and that the plugin can not work correctly.

I didn’t change anything. the IP matches. Is there a way to go back to defaults? It is oboe since 6.1 update. 6 worked fine.

I don’t block all countries as I’m afraid they’ll knock out legit stuff. Also, I think Askimet has updated. Could that be it?

You can download the previous version at

The country blocks are not the whole country, just known spam sites in a country.
