# Plugin not showing up

 * Hi there! I’m fairly new to WordPress so please excuse if perhaps I missed out
   on a really big clue to my issue. I recently installed this plugin but for some
   reason, it’s not showing up on my WordPress dashboard and I can’t find the TOC
   block either.
 * I’m currently using WPBakery if that is also a factor to consider. Thank you 
   in advance!

 * No worries at all — this is a common point of confusion when using page builders.
 * SimpleTOC does not add a separate dashboard menu. It adds a **Table of Contents
   block** to the WordPress block editor, also known as Gutenberg.
 * If you are using **WPBakery**, that may be the reason you do not see the SimpleTOC
   block, because WPBakery uses its own editor instead of the native WordPress block
   editor.
 * A few things you can check:
    1. Open a page or post with the regular WordPress block editor.
    2. Click the “+” button to add a block.
    3. Search for “SimpleTOC” or “Table of Contents”.
    4. Make sure the plugin is installed and activated under **Plugins → Installed 
       Plugins**.
 * If you are building the page entirely with WPBakery, the SimpleTOC block may 
   not be available there directly. In that case, you would need to use SimpleTOC
   in the block editor, or check whether WPBakery allows inserting Gutenberg blocks
   or reusable blocks into its layout.
