    Hello,

I have followed the instructions here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-find-your-nearest/installation/ perfectly. I have created a new page called “closest locations” and assigned it in the settings area as per points 3 and 4 in the instructions.

I have also created some test locations.

When I visit the page assigned for this plugin I don’t see anything except the test content that I have on that page. This content is supposed to be replaced with the plugin.

I have tried assigning to plugin to many different pages. It never works.

I am using the free version at the moment. What is wrong? What else to I have to do?

    Nicole

Ok I think I have figured this out. You MUST use a widget. The page you set is not where the plugin is shown it is only used AFTER you click find on the widget form to perform a search. Perhaps the documentation could be more clear to explain that you must place a widget on the site.

I personally didn’t actually even have a sidebar on my site in which to place a widget. In this case I need a shortcode to show this plugin widget on a normal page.

“You MUST use a widget. The page you set is not where the plugin is shown it is only used AFTER you click find on the widget form to perform a search.
