Not at all. There a millions of replies and topics in these forums. The wp-admin for looking at revisions on this site is unwieldy at best. My exact words were this.

You can email otto[at]wordpress.org and complain about me if you wish. I am sure the community team will get this; I apparently have a “fan club”.
You can also email the plugins team via plugins[at]wordpress.org and ask them about the forum guidelines and the plugin guidelines.

Asking for off forum contact for logs and possibly confidential data is 100% allowed. Sometimes users do not even want to share a URL in the forums and that is totally acceptable.
Asking for access to a user’s site is not and using that off-forum contact to walk around that prohibition is not permitted.
