Plugin not sending mail from behind web application firewall

    I have designed a site using Elementor Pro and Astra. There are some forms on the page, and we are putting the site behind a Web Application Firewall. On the beta, the forms fill out OK but no longer send mail.

    Does the smtp plugin use the same session that the request came in on to send the traffic out? Or would the SMTP plugin create a fresh outbound session for sending the email?

    Hi @mrsbadger,

    I apologize for the late response. Web Application Firewall should not create any issue. The mailers using http APIs to send emails are not affected at all, while blocked SMTP port creates an issue if you’re using ‘Other SMTP’.

    The plugin creates a new outbound connection to send emails.
