Installed the plugin, added the widget to the page, included the settings, got the ipStack API key. However, when I add the latitude and longitude, it doesn’t save it. As soon as I click Update Options, both coordinates disappear. Not sure what is wrong, but if it doesn’t save them. Even when I choose the option for Use Visitor’s Location, the plugin still shows the same message on screen “Failure notice from provider: Location does not exist.”

    Need help. Thanks.

    Hi,

please try leaving the location empty and only enter the lat and lon.
    This should do the trick.

This is still not working. I removed the location and it actually did save the longitude and latitude, but it still shows as “Failure notice from provider: Location does not exist.” Clearly the location does exist.

Please see the setup page here for the plugin: WP-Forecast plugin setup

    What am I still missing?

    Thanks for the sceeenshot.
You can only use lat and lon with DarkSky. With Accuweather you can use locations from Accuweather. If you click on the magnifying glass you can search for available locations.

OK. That worked…sort of. It didn’t find the lake, but it did find the city right next to it. It doesn’t look as mobile friendly as I would like, as I was hoping for something more icon driven, like WeatherUnderground used to be, but this will do for now. I appreciate the fast feedback and help. Thanks.

Thank you for your replay. I should update the tooltips to make this more clear.
