# Plugin not getting activated

 * Hi,
 * I recently upgraded to WP 2.1
 * I’m running Apache Red Hat Linux Server.
 * When I try to activate the plugin ‘execphp’ [http://ottodestruct.com/blog/2006/04/09/fun-with-widgets/](http://ottodestruct.com/blog/2006/04/09/fun-with-widgets/)
   
   I get an error saying that I dont have permission to access /wp-admin/plugins.
   php
 * This error only occurs with this plugin and no other.
 * The plugin also runs perfectly well on my localhost which I use for testing.
 * Please try and help me out.

 * The plugin doesn’t appear to be [compatible](http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Plugin_Compatibility/2.1)
   with WP 2.1 yet, maybe get the plugin author to update this? Good luck!

 * I thought the same thing too but it works perfectly on my localhost which runs
   WP 2.1
