I used to get an alert when duplicating a site for localhost development, but now I don’t get that alert anymore on my dashboard.

The alert was useful to disable reminder emails to customers.

Is it possible that maybe that feature got removed? Or is it a bug on the latest version?

I’m using WordPress v6.1.1 and Customer Reviews for WooCommerce v5.17.0

    Hi,

    Thank you for using CusRev.

It is possible the site URL is also replaced by the new one then our plugin does not treat the site as a duplicating site. You can check the status in Reviews > Diagnostics. Please read more on this solution Automatic Review Reminders Turned Off.

It’s not detecting it as duplicate not matter what I do or how I restore the backup: https://i.ibb.co/Qb8ZQYf/Untitled.png

The localhost development site has a completely different URL from the original site.

    Hi,

Thank you for your additional information.

Can you please share two screenshots (full screen):
    – Your site URL on the page Reviews > Diagnostics
    – Option ivole_siteurl and its value in the table wp_options

Our plugin will check your current site URL and the option value ivole_siteurl, if it does not match, there will be a notice about a duplicate site. If not, there is no notice.

    Hi,

Thank you for your additional information.

It is possible that the button “Hide this message” in the duplicate popup is clicked somehow then the plugin stopped saying that it is a duplicate website. Can you please share a screenshot of the option ivole_ignore_duplicate_siteurl_notice in the database also?

    Hi,

It’s so weird. Can you please share screenshots of the siteurl option in the options table and check the constant WP_SITEURL from wp-config.php file also?

    Thread Starter Leandro

    (@leandroprz)

Sure. Here’s the screenshot of siteurl: https://i.ibb.co/5BKGZP1/Untitled.png

I don’t have the constant WP_SITEURL defined in my wp-config file.

    Hi,

Thank you for your additional information.

Not sure why it does not work on your site. That’s the options I can suggest to check on your site. Can you please check this issue again on another site or an online staging site?

If it still does not work, you can try to submit a ticket here https://www.cusrev.com/business/contact-us.html
I will forward it to my development team to help you investigate the issue further.
