  • Hi Connie,

There are a lot of possibilities here. When I visit your site, the plugin appears to be active and successfully detected my ad blocker. So, if you can give me a little more information hopefully I can fix the issue. I’ve included two items below that would be a big help.

1.) Assuming you’re using the “shortcode” feature of this plugin, can you post the HTML code for your ad blocker enabled section in the shortcode (copying and pasting the contents of the Text tab of the editor is sufficient, but make sure if you respond here you enclose the code in backticks.). I just want to see if there’s any wording or code that an ad blocker might think is an ad. They’re known to give false positives.

2.) Can you give me the output of your JavaScript console in your web browser when the ad blocker is enabled and this plugin isn’t behaving as expected. The JavaScript console is also known as Console, Web Console, and Developer Console in various browsers, and can be found inside the developer tools areas of your browser’s menu.

Specifically, I’m looking for a block of text that looks something like this (yours may be a bit different):

ABD Detector:: iframe removal detected! (Detection Method: iframe css changed to hidden - frame.css('visibility') === 'hidden' || frame.css('display') === 'none')
ABD Detector:: No div removal detected
ABD Detector:: js removal detected! (Detection Method: Bait javascript file prevented from loading and execution!)

You can take a screenshot and post a link to it here, or simply copy and paste it like I did above.

That console output will tell me what this plugin sees in your web browser with your ad blocker.

Thanks, and I’m sorry the plugin isn’t working as expected.

As I haven’t heard back in several weeks, I am marking this issue as resolved.

If it is not resolved, please feel free to respond with the information described above, and I’ll reopen it.
