# Plugin not available on subsites

 * Have multi-networked a plug-in & it’s installed/available in the editor of the
   primary site, but it’s not in my sub site. Can’t figure out what to do to make
   it available. Any tips would be appreciated.

 * What is the plugin? Some plugins do not work as expected when you “Network activate”
   them. Some are coded to only have settings within the main Site but will affect
   the whole network. If you do not network activate it, you can activate on a subsite
   level and should then have settings in each subsite (Unless the plugin is only
   intended for network activation)

 * Yes, from Mike’s post there are a couple of things you should know about WordPress
   plugins that “network activate.”
 * If when you install the plugin, it does not say “network activate,” that means
   you have to go to each individual subsite and activate it on its own.
 * If when you install the plugin, it says “network activate,” then once you activate
   it, it will be available to all subsites. However, sometimes a network activated
   plugins Setting panel will be added as an additional listing on your Dashboard
   view, left sidebar. Or, the plugin author may add the settings for that plugin
   under the Dashboard > Settings view or the Tools > View. You may have to look
   for the Settings panel in a location that is not immediately obvious to you. 
   It depends on the plugin and how the plugin author decides to link that plugins
   admin to the master admin for that site.

 * Big help thanks Mike & Tony the plugin is SEO Redirection & is available to both
   sites under settings > tools
 * One site has it as a widget in the editor, that’s all.
