Recently I have noticed spam getting through. I think it might be a new kind of spam. Here is an example:

    Author : nursing (IP: 186.95.100.17 , 186.95.100.17) E-mail : novella-mickens@freenet.de
    URL : http://www.midwiferydegree.org/
    Whois : http://whois.arin.net/rest/ip/186.95.100.17

Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips and hints for rookie blog writers? I’d certainly appreciate it.

At first I thought that they were actual people, because otherwise NoSpamNX should stop them. But they don’t show up in my stats. I guess they could be using an cloaking program, but I suspect that they are bots.

I even got one in French. Weird.

I saw this new spam also. I used the Blacklist to block this new one. Working on an automated check.

I was getting 2 – 4 per day with different IP addresses. I ended up downloading a new plugin which seems to have helped. It requires that the commenter have Javascript enabled.

Yeah – I’ve seen this type of spam too… blocked the IPs
