Hi,
you do not need to worry Your locations suppose to be stores in the database so there is no reason you should have lost theme.
I have made a lot of changes in the version 1.7 of the plugin but still it should work find. I have tested it on few of my site and no other users have reported on any major issue. So I am pretty sure it is nothing to worry about.
questions:
1)Have you updated to WordPress version 3.5.
2) have you noticed the changes in the plugin’s setting pages?
You need to go to the “add-ons” page under GEO my WP page and activate the “post types” add on and then go to the settings page.
awesome site Kings3jm, like the way you used that, can you advise on the best way to do it small scale? I want to add some youth centres to my site this way, no idea how to get it running with no docs on the site anymore.
Thanks thedesignboy! Yeah, it was pretty frustrating that updating the plugin completely turned everything off and wasn’t very obvious how to get it all back on again. If you want some advice on how I used it, feel free to email me at Jill@jillkcreative.com
You have to go through and basically tick a few different boxes in a few different places to get everything running again.
@kings,
My apology for the mess with the last update. It was a major update and have made a major update in the code. Until version 1.7 i had to manage two version the free and the premium and it was way to much. Now i have one base version together with the add-on. Life is much easier :).
Hope you are still enjoying the plugin.
And i really like your site as well. nicely done.
