Setting up the Ninja-form was really easy and the essence works.
But I keep having a problem; after hitting submit, a message shows up saying: Processing form submission, please wait…
Then nothing happens and the submitter doesn’t receive an email, but the submission is saved.
I checked the jquery version, but can’t find any number lower than 1.7.1.
    The console says:
XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://mysite.nl/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. Origin http://www.mysite.nl is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.
I turned Submit via Ajax off, but that makes no difference.
    Hope you can help, thanks!

If you would like me to take a closer look create a temporary admin account and email it to james[at]wpninjas[dot]net.

I would love you to be using the plugin error free and this will help me investigate a little deeper.

@suzanne Pen I got the creds you emailed and if I don’t get to it fully tonight I will work on it tomorrow for you. It’s definitely a javascript conflict, I just need to track it down.

@suzanne Pen Kevin got you all fixed up. Your web server was trying to send an email no matter what the form settings. You should be good to go.

Hi there, I think I’m having a similar problem. I have used Ninja Forms before with no problem, but this time, when I click submit on the form, I receive this pop-up:

    Processing Form Submission close
    Processing Submission
    Close

… and do not receive any message.

I’m sure it’s being caused by another plugin (Custom Tables), but unfortunately I can not disable it, cause I don’t want to loose all the settings I already did 🙁

This is the link of the page where I have the problem: http://aire-tech.net/wp/contact-us/

    I’d really appreciate your help.

Thanks James and Kevin! It works just fine in Chrome now, very happy with that!
But in Internet Explorer 8 something else goes wrong:

Message: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: >
    Line: 3
    Token: 14659
    Code: 0
    URI: http://www.mysite.nl/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.7.1

@virgilio.cantu: Your issue isn’t exactly the same. You are loading an old version of jQuery and not the one bundled with WordPress. You should be using 1.7.1 but you’re using 1.4.2. Check out this post about this issue: http://wpninjas.net/2012/01/ninja-forms-submission-save-edit-errors/

@suzanne Pen: All my systems are updated to IE 9 so I’m not able to replicate this message but I will pass it on to Kevin and see if can track it down.

I tried IE 9 just now and it shows the same error. (http://www.paasendurance.nl/index.php/inschrijfformulier-endurance)

I made it work by turning off Submit via Ajax, so everything seems to be running smoothly now. Thanks for the quick help!

@suzanne Pen: It has something to do with the way it’s set-up on a Windows server. All of our servers our Linux so that’s why we’ve never encountered it. Thanks for the heads up and I’m glad you got it working.

@james Laws: You are absolutely right, it is my theme the one that is using JQuery 1.4.2. I just modified it to load v1.7.1 and a minor issue appeared, but nothing I can’t live with. Well, I guess 🙂 Your Ninja Forms plugin is great. Thank you very much for your prompt reply.

Thanks James. I Appreciate your patience.

The culprit was easily discovered, but I doubt they’ll provide the support you did.
