  • (Had this tacked onto the end of another thread, without any replies, so trying this as a separate subject…)

When I first installed NextScripts just a few weeks ago, I was able to “publish” my older WordPress posts to Tumblr, keeping the original post date as the Tumblr post date as well. Today I realized that, when I look at the NextScripts options at the bottom of the older posts, that checkbox is now grayed out and I can only click “Repost,” which posts it on Tumblr with the current date, as though I was just publishing it today.

Is there somewhere that I can change that in the plugin settings? Or can you put that ability back in? I really needed that (and Tumblrize used to do it) so that I can finish “syncing” my newer Tumblr blog to my pre-existing WP blog.

Will be done in the next release.

I didn’t see this in the latest update — did you mean next full release?

We did. Unfortunately Tumblr broke this functionality in their API. It’s not possible to make “old” post to Tumblr at this moment. There are several bug reports and several threads about it on Tumblr support forums, but we have no idea when it will be resolved.

But when/if it will our plugin will start working.
