# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] WordPress database error – SQL syntax

 * I recently installed this plugin and while I can see the thumbnails, there’re
   a lot of lines of the same error message:
 * >  WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the
   > manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to
   > use near ” at line 1]
   >  SELECT post_type FROM wp_posts WHERE id= ;

 * What do I need to do to fix this?

 * Actually, it appears to be linked to wp-greet plugin. I deactivated it and the
   error went away (although the slideshow options don’t work).
 * I’ll move this support request over to that plugin.
