# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Will not install correctly

 * I’m having major issues trying to install NextGen Gallery v1.82. I’ve tried to
   manually and automaticlly install the plugin, but the tables in the database 
   never gets created.
 * WordPress v3.2.1
    PHP v5.3.6 MySQL v5.5.14
 * The steps i take to install NextGen;
 * 1. Plugins > Add New > search for NextGen > click install now.
 *     ```
       Downloading install package from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/nextgen-gallery.zip…
   
       Unpacking the package…
   
       Installing the plugin…
   
       Successfully installed the plugin NextGEN Gallery 1.8.2.
       ```
   
 * 2. Click the activate plugin button
    `Plugin activated.`
 * 3. When i expand the gallery section i only have 3 menus, Tags, Roles, Reset /
   Uninstall. But all of the 3 menu options point to the …/wp-admin page.
 * 4. When i look in my mySQL database i only see these tables.

 * Am i missing a key php extension?
 * Is there a way of removing all traces of NextGen? I have tried deleting the plugin
   and reinstalling it but it will not setup the tables.
