[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] widget and square thumbnails (11 posts)

    Hi,

    I'm using the widget to show some pictures of my galleries, but it seem's to have some problem with the square thumbnails. It resizes it to a 3:2 ratio, despite the fact, that I used the option "use square thumbnails out of the middle of the picture" (don't know the exact translation, cause I use the german one)

    Any chance of a small fix for this? :)

    oh. simple solution, sorry, I missed that part completely. Thanks.

    But (there is always a 'but' :) ) wouldn't it be better to get the size of the picture an _then_ use the settings as a max value?

    Example: Widget is set to 75x50. Thumbnail is square (300x300)

    if (thumbnail->ratio == 1 )
    widget.x = widget.y = 50

    s.th like that (muchmuch pseudocode here). I don't know how the slideshow handles portrait pictures, but I would try it that way :) However, thank you for the _easy_ solution :)
