• Hello,

when the voting type is drop down and someone casts a vote, then the page gets reloaded. That is good.

When the page is reloaded then it jumps to the top of the page and the user has to scroll down in order to vote for the next image. That is bad.

Is it possible to reload the page at the position it was before? Or to automatically jump to the prior position after the refresh is finished? That would be very helpful.

I am sorry that i am adding so many items to your to-do list recently. I think that with a few changes you can make your plugin really great.

If you want to i can send you my version of the ngg-voting.php and then you have a german translation avaible.

    Hi again

Making the image scroll down should be pretty simple. Maybe I can even just add ajax to the drop down one day.
I need to make the plugin translatable too, so thanks for reminding me.

I just need to find the time and motivation 🙂

The problem on my page is that most of the users are too lazy to scroll down again after each vote. Thats why they vote once or twice and then they get tired and stop voting.

Please tell me where i shall send you my German translation.

I agree, the scrolling is a good idea. It’s the time that I need to find that’s the problem.
I’m not going to get around to getting the plugin ready for translations too soon, so I won’t need your translation yet. Once I do get it sorted, there will be a call for translators. You can sort out the German version then.
