[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery Voting] Please help! 1 vote per day?

    Hello, with this plugin I am wondering if a user can vote for the same image once per day or is it only a one time vote if my options are set to “Only allow 1 vote per person for this image” ? Is there for them to be able to vote once per day?

    Please, any help is needed! I am currently running a voting competition and I would just like to have this question answered in order for me to fix the problem.

    That’s not a bad idea. The interface is already a little cluttered, so I would need to figure out a nice way to present all the options. I will add it to my ‘to do’ list, but I don’t think I will be able to actually get it done too soon as I have a day job that keeps me busy.

    So to clarify, with the way the voting plugin is set up, basically each vote per person is only accounted for ONCE and they are not able to vote for that same image EVERY DAY, correct?

    It works exactly like the settings say. You can choose from:
    “Unlimited votes for this image” – Means unlimited voting, all the time

    “Only allow 1 vote per person for this image” – Means the user can rate all the images in the gallery, but only each image once

    “Only allow 1 vote per person for this gallery” – Means the user can vote once on 1 image in the entire gallery.
