    Using:
    WP 3.3.1
    NextGEN Gallery 1.9.2
    NextGEN Gallery Voting 1.9.3

I found that the voting stars wouldn’t appear under each individual image thumbnail, even after editing NextGEN Gallery’s gallery.php page properly.

Weird, but firebug revealed that they were there in the HTML, but NextGEN Gallery’s CSS was a culprit for hiding them.

I am using the dkret3 Theme.

In the ngg_dkret3.css stylesheet, I just had to comment out the rule
    .ngg-gallery-thumbnail span{ display: none;} around line 135.

Weeeeeird. Just a heads up in case anyone else comes across a similar problem.
