# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] User upload functionality – please!

 * NextGEN Gallery is the best WP gallery – period 🙂
 * However, it sorely lacks one critically important function that many webmasters
   crave – moderated user uploads.
 * There have been solutions to this in the past like using the “NextGEN Public 
   Uploader” plugin – now dead. Or, using the less robust “PhotoSmash Galleries”
   plugin – also dead.
 * Please, please, please – could someone who has the coding talent come up with
   a solution for this?
 * Is there any hope of this ever happening?
 * Thanks for your consideration of this feature.
