User Gallery and Bulk rename (1 post)

I love this plugin but have 2 requests that would make it even better.

    1) My main one is I would like to encourage users to upload their own pictures into a predefined Gallery ('User Uploads'). The controls on users are a bit vague currently to enable me to do that as I can set an all or nothing level across all galleries but nothing specific for one. As suggested I looked at the Capability Manager plugin but that is much the same and not suited to a gallery. Maybe you have a suggestion for how I can achieve what im looking to do?

    2) The second request was that I use the 'bulk' facility a lot to add specific tags to a group of photos which is fantastic, but the only other thing that would make things AMAZING would be the ability to bulk rename the files so the titles are a bit more appropriate like a prefix or something. I will explain....

When you take a group of photos on a camera they are normally named something like :

    20120403_001
    20120403_002
    20120403_003

    or even worse :

    DSCF0123
    DSCF0124
    etc...

Therefore when you upload them to the gallery it puts the title for them as those horrible names. If there was a way to either add a prefix :

    Georgia_20120403_001

or a search or replace :

replace DSCF with Georgia_ therefore making

    Georgia_0123

See what im saying? I think it would help for seo as well as correctly named images help google identify them on searches on google images. Im not 100% sure if that statement is 100% correct so maybe someone could let me know !

    Thanks !
