Trouble aligning pictures in slideshow (9 posts)

    I adjusted the positioning of my slideshow but need the pictures to all load from the centre. Right now, since the pics are different sizes and are portrait and landscape, one picture will look centred and the next will look aligned to the left. http://www.tg3mweb.co.uk/vision/portfolio
    Is this possible to achieve?

    Here are two samples, but it requires a fixed width/height :

    So Alex, what does that mean? It looks like that's code that would have to be generated by NGG (?)

    Is there any way for us to get portrait images in the jQuery slideshow centered within the show?

    So, so, so pleased that you've implemented a non-flash show, BTW.

    this is what i get...

    <div id="ngg-slideshow-2-43-1" class="ngg-slideshow" style="height:532px;width:800px;">
    <div id="ngg-slideshow-2-43-1-loader" class="ngg-slideshow-loader" style="height:532px;width:800px;">
    <img src="http://xxx.xxx/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery-2/images/loader.gif " alt="" />
    </div></div>

    my nggallery.css looks like this...

    .ngg-slideshow {
    width: 800px;
    height: 532px;
    background: #555555;
    text-align: center;
    padding: 0;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    .ngg-slideshow-loader{
    margin: 0 auto;
    padding: 0;
    text-align: center;
    padding-top: 233px;
    }

    .ngg-slideshow-loader img{
    text-align: center;
    margin: 0 auto;
    display:inline;
    }

    i tried your solution alex, but for me it didn't worked... did i edit the wrong css file?

    Hi Guys

    I am having the same issues. I am unclear where I am to put this code from your pages Alex and where to fix the hight and wideth.

    could you give me some pointers?

    img { border: none }
    p { text-align:center }

    /* give slideshow some style */
    #slideshow { margin: 20px auto; width: 300px; height: 300px }

    /* give each slide the same dimensions */
    #slideshow div { width: 300px; height: 300px; }

    /* make sure each slide image is centered */
    #slideshow div img { margin: auto; display: block }

    Hi, also trying to find a solution. The two links above might not work since the images are not wrapped around any divs. Any help appreciated!
