I am about to switch from IImage Gallery to your NextGEN Plugin, I think that sounds a little familiar to you 😉
Currently I am using Slimbox to display my photos in a proper way. By standard Slimbox is picking up the title attribute of
<a>-tag to display it as image description. On the opposite NextGEN is only putting the image title into the
<img>-tag, so when wanting to keep my Slimbox script, but also wanting to use the NextGEN plugin, then I need a solution to transfer the image title into the
<a>-tag. I thought that would be possible by using a variable like f.e.
class="gallery_item" rel="lightbox[%GALLERY_NAME%]" title="%IMAGE_NAME%"(whereas %IMAGE_NAME% would be my imaginary variable)
My aim is to have one global gallery for one post. I want to subdivide this gallery into picture sets, as I want to place a selection of photos within the text, and not as one big block. Is there a better way than tagging the photos and including them by:
[nggtags gallery=GallerySubset1] blablabla [nggtags gallery=GallerySubset2] testtesttest
I am not sure: if the photo already has a web resolution, does NextGen resize it either way? IMO NextGEN should contain kinda explicit option to switch off image resizing 🙂
To give you an imagination what kind of presentation level I want to keep, you can visit a post on my website
[nggtags gallery=xxx], could you please include it in the TinyMCE button as well? Would be a great help.
