[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thickbox problem after upgrading

Before upgrading from version 95 to 96, thickbox was working really well but now when I click on a gallery thumbnail, I get the thickbox but without the grayed out area around the picture and there’s also an artifact (small rectangle) in the middle of the first picture in the series.

I also noticed at times that a portion of the gray part in thickbox shows up below the photo.

Any ideas?
