[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] The effects are not working | WordPress.org

I use the latest version of NextGEN on one site and it’s working superbly. I have this problem on another though – http://www.rombana-folklore.com/%D0%B3%D0%B0%D0%BB%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B8%D1%8F-3/
The problem is when you click on a thumbnail it doesn’t open in the fancy Shutter, Lightbox, etc. effects, instead it sends you directly to the image file. I reinstalled the plug-in a number of times with no result . I installed it directly through my dashboard, i also tried uploading it with FileZilla, but it just won’t work. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. Strangely enough, the effects used to work, and I had Shutter selected. Then I tried Highslide, but that didn’t work because it’s apparently not included in the NextGen Gallery plugin. So I changed back to Shutter, hit the Save button, and now nothing works anymore… Thumbs simply open an image in a blank page. Deactivating the plugin and reactivating it didn’t help.
Help please!

(I’d also like to know how to add effects like Highslide)
