I had to change my secret keys upon a hack of another site on the same webhosting account. The site that got hacked showed no problem with NextGEN after the injection was removed but the second site, the one that wasn't actually hacked did.

While I can see the overview page and all images and galleries therein, I can't get anywhere else. I can't add or manage images or galleries and I cannot get to the role manager. You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page. I'm locked out!

I tried to uninstall the plugin and re-install it but that only emptied my tables and I had no images anymore which was strange enough by itself.

Upon restoring my Mysql database, I have now all images back and they all work on the site but I still get the same message if I want to add new pictures.

I tried to find the role manager in the database tables and check it out but I can't seem to find it.

    The site is http://accommodationkohtao.com/

Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Here is how the story goes on. I re-installed WordPress and it didn't help to get my access back. At this point I had restored my database to an earlier date, exchanged all files in the nextgen gallery folder,re-installed WordPress and I still don't have permission to add or manage either galleries or images.

It started to get frustrating, so I decided to use another gallery plugin and take it from there. Then I was very surprised to find out that it doesn't matter what plugin I use, I have no permission to add or modify anything. Now what? I'm running out of ideas... anyone experienced anything similar? Ideas where to look?

I may have to add; everything else works fine in WordPress, I can post, create pages add images via media library... but I cannot create a new gallery with any available gallery plugin.

Manually re-installing wordpress with all plugins deactivated did the job!
